LUXE is a material commonly known as crepe, crepe luxe or boca crepe. Luxe is by far the most popular and best selling material as it complements most of the dress materials that are available today. Luxe replaced the previous industry standard flat (dull-no sheen) material known as peau de soie. Luxe dyes much truer than peau in both light and dark colors. The reason Luxe is so popular is because it complements so many different types of dresses. Luxe will look beautiful with any crepe or low sheen dress. While not the vibrant sheen of satin, Luxe does have a little sheen which allows it to also match up to today’s satin dresses which in many cases are not as high gloss as they have been in years past.

SATIN is a high gloss material that dyes beautifully especially in deep color tones such as navy, forest green, burgundy, eggplant and black. Because of the high gloss we recommend satin only when you have a high gloss or deep color dress. Satin shoes are a good choice for velvet dresses which are normally quite deep in tone.
